Aver Security is an innovative provider of Integrated Security Solutions. We’re a young company run by experienced professionals, who provide the latest technology and up-to-date systems to protect your assets.


Aver Security is a new business with fresh ideas and experienced staff. Established in 2017, we’ve already secured prestigious contracts with high profile clients throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. We provide a business-to-business (B2B) service and have experience across a broad range of sectors including commercial facilities, social housing and large housing developments. Clients often contact us direct, but we also get work through electrical contractors, building contractors and consultant engineers.

Accreditations and Partnerships

Although a new business, we’ve highly experienced staff and are proud to have the highest level of accreditations in the fire and security industry. We’re BAFE and SSAIB registered; and have SSAIB certification for CCTV systems, access control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and intruder alarm systems. In addition, leading suppliers including Hikvision, Axis CCTV, Dahua CCTV and Tyntec Warden Call have appointed us as accredited partners.

Our team has a shared value in achieving these goals and developing long-term partnerships with our customers and suppliers.

How It Works

We use a simple three-step process at Aver Security: survey, install and maintain.
When you contact us, we’ll send a fire and security expert to meet you. They’ll survey your facility, listen to your requirements and then propose a solution. This could be an upgrade to your existing system or a new bespoke integrated system. Whatever the recommendation is – it will be personalised to you and your unique requirements.

We’ll then install your new system or upgrade your old one, as agreed. This will be done with the minimum of fuss and disruption, using qualified multi-discipline engineers.

It’s important, obviously, to maintain your equipment so it continues to work properly. So we’ll set up a maintenance contract with you, and maintain your systems using fully qualified service engineers.

Shelley Neil

Managing Director

Shelley has over 20 years’ experience in the Finance sector having trained as an Accountant since 1999 within the Construction Industry.

She is a responsible for all Financial and Administrative duties ensuring the companies aims and objectives are met.

Philip Miley

Director of Customer Development and Marketing

Philip is a business development and marketing professional with 30 years’ experience. In 1996 he formed Fleet Financial which became a market leader in Contract Hire and Vehicle Management in Northern Ireland before expanding to mainland GB and ROI.  In 2012 the business was sold to Lookers PLC to enable it to continue its expansion in all markets.  On leaving the business in October 2017 he now is involved in the development growth of Aver Security Ltd.

Eddie McAleese

Director of Operations

Eddie is a seasoned operations director with 20 years’ experience in the electrical and security industry. Key skills include designing electrical and security solutions, managing staff, estimating and setting up contracts. Eddie studied electrical and electronics engineering at Queen’s University Belfast.

David Dalzell

New Business Development Manager

David is a business development manager with a technical background in security, fire alarm and audio visual systems. He’s a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and also has qualifications in electrical installation, electronics and communications engineering. David has 30 years’ experience in the industry.
